I am a high fall risk, so I turned on my call light to request a walk. Fumi was not my assigned nurse but said she saw my call light and wanted to help her teammate. She was so cheerful that she made me brighten up! She looked me over and said she would be on the arm of a good looking fella (I'm 88). Fumi asked if she could comb my hair and then did so all the while making me feel well cared for and that I was her only focus. I'm 6'3'' and she is 4'11'' so that led to additional conversation. My point is that during a busy time, Fumi did more than just attend to my needs. She did so in a manner that took my mind off my medical issues and left me emotionally warm and fuzzy. Thank you, Fumi!
