I was scared and really afraid of the treatments!
Gabbie offered me comfort and understanding in a loving way. I would have given up on several occasions if not for her hugs and support. I see her as my Angel and a gift from God!!
I have no words to express how my cancer journey has impacted my life. Gabbie's compassion and kindness are deeply felt. She's an absolutely amazing woman.

I am honored to nominate Gabbie for the DAISY Award. Her compassion, initiative, and dedication to patient care made a lasting impact on my husband and me, and I believe she deserves to be recognized for the extraordinary care she provides.
During one of my husband's treatments, she noticed that he was not feeling well. Although she was working in the lab and was not assigned to the infusion area, she took the initiative to help him. Instead of making him walk to the infusion department, she personally stepped in to make the process easier for him. She also spoke with the doctor and helped arrange medication that made him feel much better.
What impressed me most was that she did all of this without being asked. She saw a patient in need and went above and beyond her assigned duties to provide comfort and care. Her kindness, respect, and willingness to help meant more to us than words can express.
Gabbie touched my heart that day. In a difficult moment, she made us feel seen, cared for, and supported. Her actions showed genuine compassion and reminded us of the incredible difference a dedicated nurse can make in a patient's experience.
Because of the care she provided, I would always want Gabbie to be my husband's nurse. She exemplifies everything a nurse should be—caring, attentive, professional, and selfless. I truly wish every nurse was like her.
She is highly deserving of this award, and I am grateful for the exceptional care she provided for my husband and our family.
