My son, who has various disabilities and is a special needs patient, was unexpectedly admitted to the ICU for an unusual and non-evident blood loss. Needing blood transfusions along with various tests. During our stay, our experience with nurse Gabby was that she stood out as an extraordinary nurse. She displayed a high level of competency in nursing care. Nurse Gabby possesses excellent communication skills and consistently demonstrates integrity and commitment in her work. During our long stay at the ICU, she was very warm and loving toward my son and his family. She is patient and compassionate, very well-organized with an extraordinary, positive attitude, and a heart that shows understanding. Nurse Gabby excels at seeing the whole picture in patient care, where others struggle. She has extraordinary skills in problem-solving. She takes time to listen and is very effective and efficient in inpatient care. She even chose to stay over time to ensure a smooth transition with my son's discharge. Going out of her way to help bring my son, who is in a wheelchair, into our vehicle. Nurse Gabby is a true definition of 'an excellent nurse'. She qualifies to be promoted.
