It is with a grateful heart that I make this well-deserved nomination on behalf of our tiny warrior. From the sweet way you wrap him up just right, secure his tubes and wires that surround him, down to the perfect positioning of his friend, Mr. Octopus. You ensure all his needs are met, and more importantly, that he is comfortable and safe. You really care for him, and that care has allowed me to go home peacefully every night, to recover from his delivery and make sure that my other children's needs are met.
Extraordinary care has extended beyond the 'patient.' Your personable demeanor, kind words, and actions have made a positive impression on my teenage daughter, who is now pursuing her dreams to become a NICU nurse. You have inspired her, and someday she hopes to walk the same halls at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital. Thank you for what you do for my son, our family and for others on this NICU journey.
