Gabriela takes great care to spend the appropriate amount of time delivering compassionate treatment at all times. She is always bright, cheerful, and welcoming to our family.
Our father, grandfather, great grandfather, and great-great-grandfather is a soon-to-be 96-year-old WW 2 Marine Veteran – not only is he a great patriarch, but he is a fantastic person who is loved by all who know him. He has been in HPMC on 3W for approximately 2 weeks for severe dehydration and a very bad infection in a foot wound. All of the doctors and nurses at HealthPark have been very good to both him and our family during this time, but one stands out in the overall treatment of Pop and our family.
Gabriela has gone beyond the call of duty in her care and treatment of Pop and all of us. She takes great care to spend the appropriate amount of time delivering compassionate treatment at all times. She is always bright, cheerful, and welcoming to our family. She cares for Pop as though he was her own father. She always communicates very effectively and timely on all our concerns and issues. We are always excited to see that Gabriela has been assigned to Pop’s room-she always brings a smile to our faces. And even if she is not assigned to Pop’s room, she finds time to check on him and talk to us.
This is just a quick summary of the great service that she has given to us-it does not do justice to all the care, compassion, and thoughtful consolation that she has given to us in the past two weeks. Gabriela is a true DAISY Nurse.
