I was here with COVID-19 and pneumonia for 10 days. Went home for 1 week and I'm back again on day 4 so far. Gabi has worked with me on both stays and she has been wonderful. She takes time to talk to me, but more importantly, she listens. Yesterday, I had a full-blown anxiety attack - ugly crying and everything. She sat with me and talked me through it, and even held my hand with her gloved hand. She got me a box of tissues and explained how being so overwhelmed is normal and that I'm not alone. She held to her word as she keeps popping her head in to check on me and just flashes her happy smile at me. COVID-19 has turned the world upside down, but somehow Gabi has made it just a little bit more bearable for me. Isolation sucks, but she truly makes me feel like I'm not alone. I wish there were 100 more Gabi's out there!! Thank you, just doesn't seem to be enough, hang on to her, she's amazing.
