Gabby is a true DAISY Nurse for her extraordinary compassion towards patients and families specifically when a patient in the unit was at end of life suddenly and unexpectedly. The family was shocked and devastated. As the patient's wife went limp, Gabrielle slowly assisted her down to a chair and cradled her in her arms. Watching her hold this woman in her arms while on her knees is a sight that I feel honored to have witnessed and will never forget. She is the definition of nursing and I am so proud to have her on my team.
