As a supervisor, I have had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the exceptional care and unwavering compassion she provides to every patient and family she encounters. I often hear Gabby talking on the phone to a concerned parent, and I noticed she has a special way of giving over information without overwhelming or alarming the patient’s family member. She takes a special interest in every one of her patients, so she knows exactly what the family needs to hear when they call for an update and develops a true sense of trust when it comes to her nursing care. I feel the infants themselves can sense when Gabby is their nurse and know that it’s going to be a good day because they are secure in her care.

Even once patients are discharged or her assignment is changed, Gabby continues to worry and follow up on the patient's status, displaying true compassion and concern for those who have been in her care.
