Being our first child, this entire experience was sensational. Having no idea what to expect, we were both clearly nervous and anxious to meet our new daughter. The entire staff at St. Rose Siena made this entire stay even more memorable. Everyone from the doctors, lactation consultants, nurses, and even our anesthesiologist always had our family's care and recovery on their mind. One nurse, however, really went above and beyond what we could have ever imagined. Gabby seemed to care for our family as if we were one of her own. Her knowledge was endless as was her care for my wife and at this point for our still unborn daughter was so special. Gabby always did her job with the kindest smile, never tiring of our continual demands. As soon as Gabby arrived my wife seemed so much happier. She handled everything: from helping her to breath properly to ease the pain and anxiety with stories from her own experience as a mother. When it came time to deliver our daughter we were saddened as we realized she was going to have to come through a c-section. This was very hard for my wife and I as this had not been our plan. It was Gabby along with our doctor who re-assured us that this was what was best for our baby.
She stayed with us the through the entire process, always providing encouragement to us that my wife was doing great. After a successful delivery my wife and I had time to reflect on our life-changing day, we kept coming back to how much easier Gabby made everything. We have a new found respect for how hard the nursing staff work and Gabby was at the top of the list. Most impressive of all was she did all this twenty weeks pregnant herself. We are so thankful for wonderful experience we received from St. Rose Siena hospital staff and especially Gabby. Thank you for taking care of my beautiful wife and daughter.
