Wow, Gage treated my husband like he was his brother from another mother. I must say we had not encountered many male nurses in all of our hospital experiences, and Gage was on point with his nursing skills. He was compassionate and resourceful. My husband was calling him "Bro" immediately. I have not seen the comfort of my husband with a male nurse before we came to INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center. There was just something special about Gage. I must say they made a pact from the moment he walked into our room and if Gage was assigned to another patient, he still came and said hello to my husband and that was something money could not buy.

Dearest Gage, you are awesome sauce! You were our nurse for 3 days and that was a gift from God himself. You not only took care of my husband's medical needs but also his emotional and spiritual needs. You were everything a brother would be. I can't believe you are only 24 years old. You have the wisdom of an old soul. Your nursing skills are so resourceful. Your spirit and positive energy exceed any medical book. You have what it takes inside and out. I need you to know we love you and we will take you on the rest of our journey in our hearts and souls forever. Your kindness will help us through my husband's transition from this life.
