I was brought into the E.R. just after midnight. I asked several different nurses if they would contact my mother to let her know I was in the E.R. When Gail came on duty she stopped to ask if I'd like some breakfast. I told her yes and asked her to call my mom because in the eight hours I'd been there we didn't have the chance to call. She not only brought me breakfast, but she brought me a phone so I could call my mom. I was alone and scared and just wanted my mom. Even though she was just as busy as everyone else she made it possible for me to get my mom on the phone so I wouldn't be alone.
