Gale is very thorough with the nursing students. She had developed a "test" for students she precepts and this test was shared early in the semester at post conference. As a group, we worked on the test together and the questions prompted great discussion and questions from the students. Throughout the semester, during faculty meetings, I received knowledge of a majority of students not passing the lecture exams. When I addressed my clinical group and asked if they were having difficulty passing the exams they all responded "NO - thanks to Gale's test." Every student in my group gave credit to passing this semester to Gale. Teaching spirit is hard to find.
