Galil consistently goes above and beyond for her patients. During patient rounds one day a patient was telling me about how Galil went out of her way to make sure her needs were met, but also to make sure the visitors' needs were met. The patient had a family member who was not able to make it up to the unit so Galil found a wheelchair and went and got the family out of the car brought them up to see the patient and then wheeled them all the way back out to the car. This is just one small example of how she cares for everyone she meets. Galil exemplifies extraordinary nursing and is the epitome of what the DAISY Award stands for. Furthermore, Galil is pure joy. She never complains about any situation, and always goes out of her way to help her fellow staff as well.
