Galina was the first nurse I met after my granddaughter was admitted to the NICU. It was very daunting to see our little baby girl with all the tubes hooked up to her. Galina made us feel as comfortable as we could as she explained what everything was for. She seemed to take a special interest in my granddaughter, and that comforted the whole family immensely. She was also fiercely protective when hospital staff from other disciplines came in to work with her. Galina was not about to let anyone make our baby have any distress.
She also took such an interest in her appearance. After bathing and changing her, she would dress her in pretty outfits and even put bows in her hair. She earned the title of "best-dressed baby" in the NICU. Galina's loving, caring disposition has made this 3-month stay in the NICU easier to bear, she is a true DAISY Nurse.
