Everyone at NorthShore Skokie Hospital was incredible in the treatment they provided during my hip replacement. I was nervous going into my treatment, but Dr. P’s and his team’s professionalism at every step in the process put me at ease. Gam Hauser was my night shift nurse when my peripheral nerve block wore off after my surgery and I was in tremendous pain. Her genuine care and compassion she displayed made me feel like I had a good friend looking after me. She went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and to ease my pain. Her smile (evident even through her medical mask) and laughter made a tough night actually enjoyable. She is a real angel and an incredibly sweet soul.
