Garcia is the ultimate professional. She consistently shows care and compassion to all of the patients while providing them with outstanding, competent care. How she goes about delivering that competency is a gift to both patient and the family.
One patient wrote, "Garcia went out of her way several times and reached out to the PA to suggest a change that truly helped me. She also volunteered to help with some chest PT and when the PT therapist was not available."
It is not her style to sit by idly while her co-workers might be overwhelmed in work. She jumps right in, usually going above and beyond expectation, requirement and what is asked of her. She truly is a team player. Her gentleness, compassion, and personable attitude extend beyond colleagues to patients and families. Her ability to find some common ground in which to bond with them is remarkable.
