Garrett was our nurse when I went in to deliver my first baby, and I have never been so impressed by a nurse before. He went above and beyond the entire time I was delivering. My baby was stuck in one spot for quite some time, and he used every trick he had to try and help get him unstuck. He also did not give up trying until we were able to get the baby delivered, without having to use invasive measures. He advocated for my comfort and pain level the entire time and did an excellent job ensuring we were taken care of post-delivery! Even though he was a newer nurse at the time, you could not tell; he carried himself as a seasoned nurse would. He was kind, professional, and so attentive to our needs. He was the true definition of an advocate. I know most people would be put off at the thought of having a male delivery nurse, but we would choose him every time if possible!
