Friendliness nurse, Gary. I was moved to the fast track area so I could receive IV meds despite the ER beds being filled. The entire FT unit was run by Gary who made sure that my health and comfort were treated as priorities, and when necessary called in for special assistance rather than causing me harm. His friendly, positive personality complemented the medication to make the bed waiting period drastically less frustrating and even beneficial. A great nurse that seems to really love his job-which he shares through his action/work.
