My family recently lost my grandfather due to COVID-19 and at the same time, my uncle was admitted with COVID-19. With the hard time my family was going through, Gary had worked to make sure my family and I were taken care of. He would go check on my uncle even when he was not his nurse and make sure there were no problems and even if there were problems he would work to fix them. For example, when my uncle wanted him to specifically be his nurse, Gary was willing to switch his assignment to be his nurse. Gary would keep me updated through the night on his status and how he was doing. Gary would make sure he had everything he needed even giving him his phone charger to keep so he can call his kids. As well, Gary would always be there to listen to our concerns and answer our questions. He worked to comfort us during the time of this loss while also keeping us comfortable knowing my uncle was getting good care. Thank you, Gary!!
