September 2020 Honoree
gassia dabbaghian, RN
When I was first diagnosed, she took me into her office and we talked for a long time. She explained the prognosis and made me feel heard and nurtured. When I needed my CDs for UCLA, and these were complicated to get, she located them and had them ready for me when I arrived. When I returned for my follow up after my two surgeries, I called her and said I was coming in. We talked again in her office and she remembered me after a year and I found out she definitely cared. Gassia is a kind and compassionate soul. She really helped to make me feel cared for and I always leave with a smile no matter how scared I am when I walk through the door.
Thank you, Gassia, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
