Gay spent many hours taking care of my mother. If I had to pick one word to describe Gay it would be "outstanding". Kind, thoughtful, caring, and patient are a few of the words I can think of to describe her. Gay went above and beyond to ensure that all of our mother's discharge needs were met. She came in to talk to us about our mother's discharge, medications, how to drain her lung tube every day, listened to our questions, and fussed over our mom. We were all in awe of this angel standing in front of us confident, kind and concerned for our mom. We are so blessed in many, many ways, still having our sweet mother, being able to take care of her and last but certainly not least having great access to great people and medical care, especially from nurses like Gay.
