January 2026 Honoree
Gayla Frith, RN
I watch how Gayla treats her patients daily. She is always kind and caring.
A few months ago, I watched as she was leaving to clock out, and a patient was by the time clock headed to Radiology. Gayla took the time to not only walk her to Radiology, but she stayed with the elderly patient for over 45 minutes until her family member got her registered in Outpatient.
I thought it was her family member by the way she was treating her, but she had no clue who she was. She just offered her assistance and stayed with her and talked like they were family.
I offered to help so she could go, and she said no, that she was good and didn’t mind staying until the family got there. Gayla demonstrated exceptional care and went above and beyond.
