September 2017 Honoree
gemenelie anne revilla, RN
At a time when I felt most vulnerable, Gen was a comforting and calm presence. The ASU is an intimidating place for someone who is unused to being hospitalized. And the fact that a complete stranger can be compassionate and efficient and confident at what she does made my stay a less scary experience. Even when she was about to get off-duty, and because of her schedule was unable to see me again before I was transferred to a regular room, she was rooting for me all the way. To get to a regular room means a road to recovery. Thanks, Gen. You have made a lasting impact on me and with the others in ASU. God bless you always!
Thank you, Gemenelie, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
