We had a patient in 3WT and the patient's daughter was with her mom. She informed me that her brother was also admitted to 4WT due to a stroke. I heard from the patient's daughter that they had taken her brother down to see their mother that day. After the patient's son visited, their mom starts declining and Nurse Gena initiated bringing the patient's son to be with his mom in her final moments. It was a sad moment, but the patient son was very thankful to be with his mother at her last breath. I really appreciate Gena for being mindful and thoughtful in assisting the son to be with his mother at the last minute of her life. Thank you, Gena, you created a memorable experience with the patient's family.
