Gene Fletcher, Registered Nurse

I had issues with my oxygen levels and keeping them up. I was on a machine that pushed oxygen in my nose. It was very difficult for me to breathe, sleep, and even talk. I felt like it was too much air.

I am thankful to my nurse, Gene, for listening to my concerns. He adjusted the machine, and I was able to breathe again at a comfortable high flow. Within a few days of the right adjustments, I was able to come off the high flow and keep my oxygen level up on my own.

Gene is an amazing nurse. He listens to his patients and pays attention to what they need. He is always nearby when he is needed. Having him as my nurse helped me feel comfortable with my stay at the hospital and assured me of getting better so I could go home.

Every hospital needs someone like Gene on their staff.
