Genesis always found a way to make to lift my spirits.
I have been a patient at Hackensack University Medical Center many times since 1989. Although I have had many good nurses during those times I feel compelled to nominate Genesis Noak for this prestigious award. Nurses don’t get nearly the amount of credit that they deserve. However, Genesis goes to the top of my list as a superstar. She has done a remarkable job of keeping my spirits up while trying to recover from the loss of four units of blood. I wasn’t sure that I was going to be going home after the surgery, hemorrhage, and blood pressure dropping to around 52/34. I was weak, pale, and scared. Genesis always found a way to make to lift my spirits. The type of surgery I had left me, a 73-year-old male, who continually needed to be cleaned from head to toe multiple times a day. Although, it seemed I had no dignity left she always made me feel okay with it. She is charming, personable, dedicated, and possesses an untiring work ethic. She is a professional that not only represents her department well but furthermore HUMC and her profession.
