Genessa was a gift straight from heaven! We love all our nurses, but Genessa really stepped it up and loved our child to another level. We were very new to the ICU and it was incredibly stressful seeing our girl in the state she was in. Genessa was calm and watched our daughter's every move! My husband (who is very attentive) even mentioned how amazing she was!
The first thing she did was put her computer and chair right next to her bed and watched her the entire night. I know because I woke up a few times and there she was. When she was choking on her intubation, Genessa calmly took charge, which put me at more ease. She spoke to our child as if she was her own daughter. That is what we parents look for...compassion, friendship, care, and love!
