I was very pleased when Geneva took the time to explain the medications, the effects, and the apparent reasons for their use. During my 9 day stay, when I considered my emotional state to be at a real low, she also offered emotional support, encouragement and suggestions as to how I could better manage my fears, discomfort and inability to deal with so many unknowns. This woman is indeed an intelligent, compassionate and competent nurse. I would anticipate that her performance in any role would be equally exceptional and I consider her a friend for life.
