On Wednesday, December 6th, the DAISY Committee had the honor of presenting the newest DAISY Award in the E.D. December's recipient was none other than Genny Cunningham. Genny received multiple nominations from her co-workers that all summarized how she exemplifies the qualities that the DAISY Award honors- a deep commitment to providing the best care to her patients as well as seeing to the needs of her co-workers. If you see Genny in the halls be sure to tell her congratulations and don't forget to submit your own DAISY nomination to honor a nurse that you know deserves recognition.
