Gentry was on the floor for all 4 days of my mother's "visit" at FMC. During that time Gentry was compassionate, caring, outgoing and friendly, while still being professional.
Gentry went out of his way to provide the little things that made our experience so much more tolerable. For example, he personally helped me navigate my way from 3W to the ED. He also took the time to educate me on special utensils that I could get to help my mother because of her hand tremors. These were just a few examples of his responsiveness to our needs and concerns.
When it was time for my mom to leave the hospital, the discharge process was incredibly rushed because of the Peaks tight time schedule. Gentry stepped in and advocated for us by slowing the process down. He stated to everyone, "no need to get frantic". In the end, our transition to the Peaks was smooth and somewhat comforting, all due to Gentry's efforts on our behalf.
Thank you, Gentry, for taking such good care of us. You are in the right profession!
