George shows the utmost professionalism daily, but on this particular occasion, he went above and beyond. We had a patient who came to our office who was not doing well. When the patient was put in a room, he became unresponsive. George did not panic; he just began assessing the patient calmly and precisely. He followed what he had learned in his training as an RN and was able to get the patient to the ER in an efficient and timely manner. He not only made the patient his priority, but he also showed compassion and empathy for the family. In the days following, George checked on the patient and the family as well. George is a valued team member for his caring, compassion, and his ability to work under pressure.
