I witness how much George Wandick cares about our patients every time I work with him. He frequently brings in games or items to use with the kids to help them process their issues. The kids have a blast when he uses karaoke as a self-esteem building group. I have witnessed some of the most depressed children beam with pride from the applause given to them from their peers after singing.
George spent many years at Crittenton as a BHT prior to obtaining his RN and there is no job he is unwilling to perform. In his short time as an RN, he has learned to work hospital as well as residential. He also can work as the float or intake nurse. George is on many committees and picks up extra shifts during all hours to help his co-workers.
George allows our patients to have a good time while still providing structure and treatment. Crittenton is very lucky to have an employee with such a positive attitude and awesome work ethic.
