I am a Cone employee at the Wesley Long Hospital Campus. I had just completed my shift and was getting into my vehicle when my left knee suddenly popped and I went down falling backward into my vehicle. I was in extreme pain but was able to drive myself to the ER main entrance. I was able to limp myself into the reception area where my fellow team members saw I was in need and they came to my aid. I was quickly taken back and she was my assigned care nurse. She immediately got things going and was on top of every aspect of my needs and orders. I was more like family to her and she provided exceptional care not only just for me but for my family member. She is always a joy to work with and a blessing as my care nurse.
