When my father-in-law finally made the tough decision to let my mother-in-law go, Georgia asked to stay later.
My mother-in-law was brought there by Life Flight; all of the nurses and doctors were wonderful, but Georgia stood out. Even though D was unresponsive, and her brain was swelling more and more by the hour, Georgia always told us exactly what was going on. She treated her like a human being with so much compassion and kindness. She kept us updated on every detail of what was going on. We felt like a family member was taking care of her. She also worried about my father-in-law and made sure he was ok. She made a devasting situation for our family a little easier.

When my father-in-law finally made the tough decision to let my mother-in-law go, Georgia asked to stay later. My father-in-law even said, "I can't believe I waited until you had to go to do this." Again, he felt like she was family. Georgia is a one-of-a-kind nurse, and I hope she will be rewarded greatly for all she does.
