Georgina goes the extra mile and made sure that I was comfortable the entire stay. She is professional, skilled, has a great attitude, knowledgeable, and explains everything that she is doing, which is very important. Georgina is very caring when another patient needed something, she didn't say "I'm not your nurse." Instead, she said, "I will get that for you." She is truly an exceptional nurse and your hospital is lucky to have her. I have five kids and have had contact with many nurses, so I know how great she is. I was really nervous about my surgery and recovery, but thanks to her I feel confident about going home and being able to get back to great health. Please pass on my appreciation and recognize this exceptional nurse. She is truly a "diamond in the rough!" I will highly recommend this hospital to others based on the care I received!
Lastly, I loved how Georgina explained how I could prevent infection, pneumonia, etc. at the hospital and at home. She is very knowledgeable about ensuring my health continues to get better based on simple things I can do like keeping the dressing clean and dry, walking as much as possible, following the diet prescribed in the bowel surgery book, etc. Georgina is truly a Rock Star Nurse!
