Geralyn is a very hard working nurse who is devoted to her job. When others need help, regardless of how heavy her caseload is, she is there to say she can do it. When calls come in and I am unable to reach a patient's nurse, I know if I call her in a last effort, she will help if she can. Geralyn is always showing up to work with a smile on her face and compassion in her heart. When patients need more one on one because they are in pain, I have seen Geralyn just sit with the patient until they are comfortable. She will call pharmacies and doctors' offices after hours to ensure the patient gets the medications to make them comfortable.
The dedication Geralyn has and gives to this job shows she truly is meant to be a hospice nurse taking care of people during their final days/hours/minutes of life.
I'm proud to be able to work with Geralyn every day and know the patients she sees will be well cared for along with their families.
