I was very impressed with Gerard's mannerisms and approach as he attended to my sister. He took the time to introduce himself, addressed the patient, and the family members, and proceeded to state why he was there. Gerard demonstrated care, caution, consideration, and compassion as he attended to my sister. He always informed us of any changes and the next time she was to receive meds. Not only did he perform his task, but he also interacted with my sister, so he did not appear to be just task-driven. Gerard performed his duties as a person caring for an individual. I am very happy to have met a great nurse. He is indeed one of the 4 million nurses who care!
