Geri Canter, RN
Geri was our primary nurse while we were having to be induced after finding out our son had no heartbeat at 20 weeks 5 days gestation. She took the time to make sure I had enough clear liquids, heat packs, and everything to try and keep me the most comfortable I can be.
It was a very emotional time in our lives, and Geri made sure to be calm and present the whole time and through the whole labor process until we delivered our sweet boy. Geri made sure I was fine mentally and physically while I was there, and even took care of us the next day as a postpartum patient.
Geri also knitted a blue hat for our sweet boy because they didn't have a blue one, and that's the color we had chosen for our son. Everything she did meant so much to us. She took the time to call a bereavement doula and a photographer and make sure they were there to be present after birth. She helped arrange transport to Riverside for an autopsy of our sweet boy.
There are not enough thanks that we could give her for the things she did.
