Geri Mencinsky, RN, Mother Baby Unit was recognized for outstanding clinical skills and compassionate care in numerous patient letters.

One patient wrote, “This woman is an absolute blessing…One night, my son’s respiration rate spiked and they called in a neonatologist. When Geri came in to fill me in on the events, she sat with me and explained the situation in full detail. Later, she returned with a perfect set of side by side footprints neatly done on a card for me. She told me she thought I needed a pick me up. You can’t imagine how much that simple gesture meant to me.”
