Gerico Garcia always supports and guides the Asst. Nurse Managers(ANMs) or Charge Nurses in other units during Rapid Response and Code Blue at night. He never fails to show up. His guidance during this critical situation helps to ensure a safe outcome. I have seen other ANMs following and supporting other units during a Rapid Response and Code blue. His leadership sets an example for everyone. It motivates me to have a shared vision to support other units, too. I have seen him work hard to create an equitable working environment and he treats everyone fairly. I have seen him orient new ANMs and support them as they start on their new roles. He continues to support them as they settle in their units. He is our resource when we need clarification at night. He is always ready to help us. His calm voice and behaviors shows sincerity in all his work.
