There was a patient on our floor who was mentally challenged. He had an irregular heart rhythm and was stressed due to the hospitalization. I then heard singing. GiGi was singing the ABC song and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star with this patient. The patient was calm, happy, and had the biggest smile. GiGi deserves a DAISY Award for her compassion and most importantly, her dedication to go above and beyond for her patients.
