Gia was kind, warm, caring, and thoughtful, and so helpful in all of our interactions.
Gia was my L&D nurse with my third child, and despite being the youngest nurse I have had during my hospital stays delivering all three children, she was so caring and efficient and really listened to my needs and requests. I had several situations I was hoping to avoid from past deliveries, and when describing them to her, she took great care in considering the options and providing me with solutions that assisted with my requests.
For example, I have had significant issues receiving an epidural and having my blood pressure drop and spike, and so she closely monitored this for me, and for about an hour was constantly in communication with the anesthesiology team, with me, and communicated exceptionally well, describing what medication I was receiving, what it does, how it impacts my system, etc. I was so grateful to know what was happening and how I could expect my body to react. I also know that she was incredibly busy, with several other L&D patients on that floor during this time, and still made my care a priority. Gia was kind, warm, caring, and thoughtful, and so helpful in all of our interactions. In all my time at Ivinson, she was one of the best L&D nurses I have ever had.
