She listened to our journey, which started with a stage 4 cancer diagnosis and followed shortly thereafter with a heart attack. She sympathized with us, and she answered all of our questions.
Gianna was so professional with us. Very soon after we arrived at the units and in our room, she cheerfully greeted us and started to gather all the information she needed. She kindly allowed my husband to rest while I gave her the information she needed. She listened to our journey, which started with a stage 4 cancer diagnosis and followed shortly thereafter with a heart attack. She sympathized with us, and she answered all of our questions. She was kind and gave us whatever we needed. She expertly transferred the information about us to the next nurse coming on shift so that the transition was seamless. She personally and warmly said goodbye at the end of her shift and wished us the best. In the morning, she updated me upon my arrival and also gave me some hot tea. She told us she was praying for our continued journey and warmly hugged us both. My husband's immune system is low, and she immediately put up a sign to inform those entering his room and put extra masks outside the door for all those who entered. This was so appreciated. He did not need to be exposed to another problem, considering his current health situation. We are very thankful to her and her care was well appreciated.
