Gianna Pomponi, BSN, RN

Gianna was caring for a woman with metastatic cancer who was dying. The patient had two wishes before she died. One to see her four children which she was able to do and #2 to get outside. Gianna went above and beyond to make the second wish happen. She appropriately managed the patient's pain while also getting the patient onto a stretcher chair and outside for some sunshine before she died. The patient was so happy and thankful. Gianna did this all while having a smile on her face. Gianna is a very compassionate and an extraordinary nurse who will make the wishes of her patients come true. Sheis a true DAISY!
