From the moment Nurse Gifty walked into the room, she immediately filled the air with her presence, reassuring me and my family that she would do everything to make my child comfortable. She knew how to get him to listen to her without being firm. Our son had a traumatic brain surgery and was not himself. He was very irritable most of the time and did not want strangers touching him. However, Gifty's great bedside manner, gentle touch, and skills as a nurse, made our son feel comfortable with her. She was prompt with all the orders and always made sure we were comfortable.
