Ms. Murray is very special to the hemodialysis unit and the institution as a whole. She is truly our patients' champion. She ensures the patients who are on the transplant list get their labs drawn on schedule and, on occasion, she will drop off the labs at FedEx if a patient cannot come during the daytime. Ms. Murray has even come at 6:30 a.m. to draw a patient's labs for transplant so the patient can get to work on time. In addition, she takes the initiative to track and ensure patients receive their treatment in a timely manner. She is truly a gentle spirit. She helps patients young and old who have been recently diagnosed with ASRD to adjust and accept their current condition and assists them in working toward a healthy lifestyle while on dialysis. She is simply one of the best nurses our institution has. She has been here for the last 30 years and she continues to grow and blossom into a beautiful daisy.

I have a hard time with scheduling time to do my transplant blood. Nurse Murray will sacrifice her time to accommodate me outside the call of her duty to ensure that it's done. She shows never-ending diligence to her patients, even the ones not assigned to her, and she obviously loves her job. She upholds a high standard of professionalism that is challenged by none. Whenever Ms. Gillian Murray speaks to me, I am always comforted and hopeful in the end because of her exceptional communication skills and her ability to empathize. I look forward to seeing Nurse Murray so I can enjoy her sense of humor and watch her work tirelessly with solid stamina as she solves problems quickly with a skill born of a leader in love with her followers.
My worst experiences at the dialysis center are on days when Nurse Murray took a well-deserved vacation. It was when I truly realized that this humble servant had gone beyond the call of duty to give me help, support, and special care, not for the money, but because she is truly inspired. I pause to say thank you to Nurse Murray for her kindness and dedication and priceless care, the smiles on my face, and my love for the unit. I declare that we have a Nurse Murray Day. I really appreciate her for what she does.

Her consistent positivity makes her a ray of sunshine. Her faith in the positive is present in her personal life as well—she takes good care of her sibling.
