Gillian calmly and professionally handles every situation that comes up in the pediatric clinic. As charge nurse in the clinic, she is responsible for ensuring that all of the doctors, LVNs and MAs have all that they need to complete their jobs while balancing walk-in patients, triages, insurance issues, upset patients AND provides amazing lactation help to new mothers all throughout the day. She is constantly being interrupted with questions and is able to handle our entire department's needs with a smile on her face. She truly loves her job and provides both our patients and their mothers with amazing care. Many women come in exhausted and upset that they are having issues with feeding their baby, and sometimes feel that they are ready to give up hope. She always turns these situations around and helps parents feel better about their self-doubts and concerns and ensures that the families leave with all of the information they need for their family to be successful in helping their babies grow happily and healthfully.
