Gina embodies what the DAISY Award is all about. She is compassionate and caring, she goes above and beyond for her patients and she is always seeking to learn more information so that she can help her patients. Gina is a wonderful colleague to have on the unit, she is helpful and willing to pick up extra shifts to help her co-workers and always does it with a smile on her face. I have never seen or heard her complain about a patient or a coworker, or even a difficult situation. She has a servant's heart and is always happy to help in any way she can.
