September 2013 Honoree
gina johnson, RN
I was admitted to Mercy Hospital on July 14, 2013 and spent much of my time with Gina. I am a retired old school LPN and I have worked with many nurses throughout my career and I can spot a loving, caring, efficient one a mile away. Gina is one of the good ones.
After a difficult stay, an important decision had to be made. I was emotional. Gina comforted me at that critical time. I went home on Hospice. Gina educated me and gave me important information on Hospice and it's scope of care. She always involved me in my plan of care and had time for my family. We will never forget her.

Thank you, Gina, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
