Gina is a great asset to the West 9 team. She is always friendly and helpful to everyone she comes in contact with. Co-workers as well as patients and families often mention her name as one of their favorite nurses. Families have described Gina as caring, loving, and attentive, and appreciate the way she addresses any and all concerns they may have. She goes above and beyond on a daily basis providing families with the information and knowledge they need to feel comfortable with the care their child is receiving.

Gina is one of the more experienced night shift nurses on West 9. She has precepted several new nurses, and helped them develop the confidence they need to succeed. She is recognized by her coworkers as someone who is always willing to help, and is a great resource as far as answering questions and helping with procedures. She is also a consistent relief charge nurse, and demonstrates a calm, patient, and supportive attitude while in that role. She is well respected and has the ability to make logical decisions about staffing and issues that may arise on the floor.

Gina was an Activation Support Champion throughout our switch over to Epic and since that time remains a strong resource by supporting coworkers with questions and issues they have. She is also one of West 9's Listening Information Network about Change (LINCs) representatives, and helps disseminate information about different topics to the West 9 staff.
